If you have been anywhere near a petrol station in recent months then you will be well aware of the astronomical prices of fuel these days. If you are anywhere near as disgusted as me at the government and the oil companies, both of which point the finger at each other but are equally to blame, then you will be open to any ideas as to how to keep your travel costs low, especially if you have to fork out for performance car insurance. Performance car insurance is higher than regular insurance but there are ways that you can cut your fuel bills and avoid doing anything that can put your premiums up.

For example, tyres that are low can cause accidents because they reduce your control over your performance car but making sure that they are fully inflated and balanced can decrease the likelihood of you having an accident as well as improving your fuel economy. A little care goes a long way!
