Apparently there has been even more information released today about the rises that are expected to be brought into force by specialist and general taxi insurance providers in the coming month or so. It has been rumoured that taxi insurance specialists were about to put up their premiums before but several providers have now confirmed it. There are several reasons for this change in premium rates and it will affect every taxi driver, no matter how clean your record is.
One of the main reasons for the increase in taxi insurance is the level of inflation, which is of course on its way up right now. It is getting more and more expensive to run any car and the expenses that are being incurred by the insurance providers will be passed on as a result.
